DMP Doorbell cameras

There are a few variables on the DMP doorbell installation

There needs to be 16-24 volts AC at the existing doorbell wires for the new video doorbell to work properly.

(This goes for the Alarm.com doorbell camera as well)

  1. The existing chime doorbell may or may not continue to function depends on if it is mechanical or digital. Mechanical ones often will keep working

  2. We can install a DMP 1108 chime module to send a chime signal to the existing DMP keypads that would be helpful. You would need to ask your security consultant to include this in his or her bid.

  3. The Peak tech has no control on existing equipment, wire or power to the doorbell equipment.

  4. DMP is a high end manufacturer that can tie to your AV home automation system.

  5. They are also preparing an update so the doorbell work function as they were designed because they have made some improvements with analytics and the update will improve these items.

  6. This DMP doorbell camera integrates with the Virtual Keypad app from DMP https://www.dmp.com
