High cost equipment explained

When you buy a camera system from a big box store and install it yourself often you get inferior equipment. When you buy through Peak Alarm you get professional installation with a company that is licensed, insured and all of our employees have gone through an FBI background check. The equipment we install is quality equipment. We have entry level, mid range and high end equipment within each of the brands that we sell and install. Some of those brands are AXIS, Avigilon, Digital Watch Dog and SPECO.

Additional information to compare pricing:

You can by a $99 dollar clarinet on the internet and I have bought one just to see what I would get. The quality was very different from my clarinet, mine is wood and the cheap one is plastic. The sound is very different on both of them.

An intermediate Buffet clarinet is around $1,500 or fifteen times the cost of the cheapest new clarinet. I have to use a special oil to maintain my clarinet and change the pads as part of maintenance.

The same applies to almost anything. My friend bought a $250 dollar 45 caliber gun and another friend bought a sig P220 for $1,200 and they both shoot the same bullets although the quality is night and day.

You can buy a new car for $16,000 on the low end and the cost of a BMW Alpina is around $141,000 and there are more expensive cars and many in between.

I am sure you have heard the saying “You get what you pay for.” There is another saying that my wife’s family uses and it is Cheap things always end up costing you more in the long run.

With the low cost options often there is no service available from the company that sold it to you, the quality of the product is questionable and the features normally are not the same and it won’t last as long as a quality product.
