The two panels have touch screens, both have built in cellular units, the Qolsys Power G has a camera built in that takes pictures of who disarms the system and the Qolsys panel has a built in glass break sensor. The XTL panel does not have a built in siren like the Qolsys does. The siren that comes in the XTL touch kit is a wireless unit that will mount separately.

The cost of the Qolsys Power Sensors are a bit more expensive although they do have four times the wireless range as the normal Qolsys sensors. The Qolsys Power G panel come in either 319,345 or 433 mHz frequencies for Qolsys, Honeywell or DSC frequencies and all three types also have the Power G encrypted 900 mHz frequency.

The DMP XTL can set up 6 different areas to arm each area separately, the Qolsys Power G panels have 4 partitions.
