Utah to adopt new Fire Alarm codes in July 2023

The State of Utah will adopt the following codes in July of 2023

  1. NFPA 72 version 2019

  2. IFC International Fire Code version 2021

Currently Utah is using the 2016 version of NFPA 72 and the 2018 version of IFC

The CO Carbon Monoxide NFPA 720 will be combined into the NPFA 72 2019 code
