Remote Access Control of doors

There is a long list of access control brands and many of them allow remote connection so you can lock and unlock doors remotely using your phones or tablets.

DMP has panels that allow you to install FIre, Security and Access on one panel. The door controllers are limited but for small businesses this is a great options that may not be as expensive. DMP will also allow you to connect remotely using your phones to control your access control and security although there is no remote control of fire alarm since that is allowed in the fire code. There is a charge to remotely connect to the DMP system and it would be around $60 per month.

For both the systems above the information is stored onsite in the controllers and if there is an event such as lightning or a large power surge and you damage those controllers/computers you are at risk to loose that information. That is why we suggest periodic backups which many people avoid doing.

PDK has aboth hardwired and wireless controllers and the information is not only stored in the controllers but also in the CLOUD so if there is a lightning or large power surge the controllers could burn out but as soon as new controllers are installed the information can be pushed to those controllers to have the entire system back up and running quickly. There is a monthly price for this based on the amount of doors on your system. .PDK can also control elevators adn other systems as needed. The software is web based and it is very secure.

Kantech and Brivo are systems that JCI installs
