Johnson Controls is an Avigilon dealer which is a high end camera manufacturer that offers analytics with their camera systems . Here is an article that talks about camera systems with analytics that are used in school districts to help prevent tragic events such as school shootings.

Active shooter is a term we should not be familiar with although now it is a common term. These systems can be viewed remotely by the police when needed and you can track people across all the cameras with different criteria. Recently a student was caught at West High School with a weapon and the school was put on lockdown and the police activated a special protocol.
