Do you really want the least expensive system?

Before you buy the least expensive camera system you can buy ask yourself a few questions.

  1. Do you buy the least expensive phone that you can find? Why not? Quite often people spend more on their new smart phones than they do on their entire camera system and then they expect high quality and they expect the system to last a long time. One customer bought and installed a very inexpensive system from a big box store and then a couple years later he bought and installed another one because the equipment did not function well. Then he called me and asked to purchase a quality system which we sold him. I did mention to him to look at the camera system installed in that big box store and I told him the system installed is not the brand that they sell.

  2. Do you buy the least expensive car you can buy? Why not?

  3. We have kits that are very reasonable as far as pricing.

  4. It is best if I can come out to your facility or home and find out what you want to look at and then I can figure out what lenses you need and what type of cameras. Understand that most of the low cost kits are not cameras or recorders that will fit every job or situation. We put together packages that are quality and will do what you want and need them to do.

  5. When you ask for the least expensive camera I can sell you a $200-$400 camera but those are not the cameras I recommend especially for commercial applications. In the big box stores you can buy a $40 dollar camera and I would recommend those even less. We have cameras that are over $1000 and a good LPR license plate camera for even more but going with a good quality entry level camera is much more prudent than trying to buy the least expensive camera just the same as trying to buy the least expensive phone or phone plan.
