I have been a Bosch dealer for the past 16 years and since we install Security Systems in Utah and Salt Lake City we have become experts in this field. We are now BCSD dealers and certified in ReadyKey Pro as well. We went to a class last year that was a week in California to get certified.
Advice for getting bids: When you need to get 3 or 4 bids on a Security project it is best to have the drawings ready and a statement of what you would like done. Normally we call this the specification. Many times owners pay an Engineer to write a Specification. Care should be taken so you don't end up with a proprietary security system and be locked into one company so look for products like Bosch that have several dealers in the area instead of only one or two like many companies. Another worry is installing equipment that is of a lower quality. Many times the low bidders will install a system that may not have the ability to expand or do other important functions. Know that Bosch is the security system of choice for the Government and many large companies such as Boise Cascade, Home Depot, Lowes, Toys R Us, Walmart and the list goes on. Peak Alarm installs encrypted alarm systems such as Bosch, DMP and Qolsys.com
