NICET is The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies and Peak Alarm supports NICET certification.

Johnson Controls has many NICET Certified techs from NICET level one to NICET level four. I myself and NICET level 2 certified in Fire Alarm and I had to take 2 different four hour tests in order to pass the exam. in order to stamp drawings you need to be a level 3. Level 4 is able to teach NICET classes.
